dear livejournal thank you

two more nightmares
i live in a house among other houses, they are all very tall, and rather dated. the rooms are small and dark, crowded and ineffectual. my closest neighbour (no more than five meters) has two young daughters (5 and 9?). as i look out of the window i see them playing on a balustrade-less balcony. i think nothing of it. later, i look out of the window again. with a sickening feeling in me i see the older (?) il alone on the ledge. she vaguely tries to balance on a small block of wood, then steps off the ledge. i instantly know she will be killed, and that the isght will be more than i can bear. i turn awaywhen she is about to hit the ground (i think someone is with me, possibly girlfiend, i seem to recall preventing someone from seeing this). as i look down at the girls corpse, i notice her sister's body is down there too. as i look further, i notice two other bodies in my won garden. there are strange clothes near the corpses, on piece apiece. in a state of mounting agitation i try to find the phone to call for help. when i find it, it seems to be made of reinforced cardboard, and just as effective. various memebers of my family (i remember sister specifically) choose this precise moment to talk to me of something rahter dramatic, but nowhere near as bad as what i have witnessed. i shout at themsomething i realise is hurtful, and become hysteric. i never leave the house.
i wake up. it is barely 11 pm.
second dream that night: in a derelict school. no windows. grey carpet with child-sized coloured footprints. i am in the school with various people from my past. our activities: find random people, beat them up and execcute them mob-style. if they run away, we run them down in our car on the school ground.
no question here, it is gta. i remeber thinking it in the dream, which is odd, since i have never played the game.

finished pater laius. on to yes, by bernhard, a favourite of agota kristof's. i can see why.

i had a nightmare

a rather short but fun packed weekend. the wicker man (spoiler: nicolas cage gets burned alive) bank stuff late birthday card (cousin's pregnant) and another satoshi kon film (parpika) which was really good. very close to paranoia agent, but concentrated in film format, which might explain the nightmare, or it could be the unripe rhubarb in the crumble. shame really, for it was possibly the best crumble's crumble i ever made.
finished stars of compstella (christianity, greek philosophers and mathematicians, freemasons and everyone in the buiding industry basically stole everything they know from the druids). finished hoax, which is pretty good if a bit outdated, and onto the slough of the hermaphrodite, which might be affecting me more than i let on.
i spent all night dreaming of of grandma and grandad. i was crying all night in my dream. still feel like crying now. so a full day out of two of hr conflict management course is probably not enjoyed at it's full fun potential when you fight back tears on the hour journey there, chugging english breakfast just to desperately try to do something about the horrible sense of loss. said nothing to girlfiend, because a sad look, a little story and a cuddle leading to a happy solution are not applicable in this case. rather the medecine does NOT WORK. had to tell her something was wrong because i look like shit and all day crying. did not tell her what. this is between you and me livejournal. dear circuits and servers you understand me so well.
weather continues fine. balmy wind rather soothing

connecting someone who does not speak my languages.
discovering that the record you bought blah-blah-blah my pleasure today was short-lived; after advancing in a season of machettes, by the author of the nakedness of life (in short: rwanda 1994 genocide), i discover the only party rich enough or interested enough in putting up billboards for the next election (main theme: making getting nationality harder), is the ultra-right wing neo-nazi party, which also happens to be the most popular, particularly with those of left-wing obedience, for some reason.
jokes aside, i'm really scared. how far away are we from civil war and genocide right here? i know my own country next door is even closer. a sword to my refugee and immigrant friends : unless you are rich, avoid western europe (i would not advise central or easter europe either): go north, run to the hills.
good, as it where, night
see, this is the billboard: there are the passports, and there are the filthy, dirty criminal foreign hands grabbing at them. now imagine this in one meter by two, every five meters in the street.

yay for church sales

seriously yay. a church seems to be the ecact kind of setting for a little second hand/coffee and cake sale and oops it sort of reminds me jesus got upset about that once.
howevergirlfiend scored about six books, i got three, and we got our fille of scones, little sandwiches and fruit cake (the english type, soaked in something strong)
but the setting was the best. typical anglican wood and whitewash with a few touches of golden, with the pews all moved to provide a central café area, and various pew-cordoned off areas to the sides, by subject: clothes, books, the rest.
bought a biography of william shatner bio for mother's day. that is sorted.

not looking forward to tonight's charioty evening. you would think a band called the popops would not need charity with the wealth of implications and double entendres possible, but they do (costumes are expensive, and tripping over your own trousers drunk or falling asleep in the gutter drunk or drunkenly brawling with neighbouring guggens puts a lot of wear and tear on them)
the gold frogging just about visible on the sleeve cuff is rather indicative of the whole style of the thing, really - also, a female to male ration of 1.
so because the first year was a success with it's chinese fondue a gogo formula
it was scrapped the second year in favour of a bar and music evening with two other guggens, which failed rather terribly and left our friends the popops in the red for new duds. so it only follows logic that they should try again something new this year, possibly something cheap and nasty and plentiful, hence the pasta festival
the pastafest is getting to be a staple of the rural bashes, since all you need is to boils copious amount of water in wich to throw as much cheap-o pasta as you can, and 5 litre army grade pasta sauces in the usual five falvours (tomato, pesto, carbonara, unnamed cheese and curry) and throw the lot at the waiting public. there is a dessert buffet though, but if you've relosved to do the least possible in a pastafest, it is not usually because you've decided to outdo yourself on desserts. i am just saying.
i will probably leave early, after the music.

skipped from pilgrim to the solitary gourmet by taniguchi. i never got hooked on his best known stuff, despite in being award winning (seriously), but this story about a lone wolf in the city, tripping out on the rustic food he encounters... quite beautiful in a sense.
also, i give you bandana colour code
and voila. remember boys and girls: left pocket is passive, right is active (which sort of bears the question, what orientation was the punkish fourteen year old we saw at work today, with a black and white bandanna in the left pocket, and a dark red one in the left? i'm sure glad she knows her own preferences so well)

i have pinpointed my problem and it lies in people, specifically talking to people; this causes much complications (not in a good sense), frustrations and achieves nothing. this became evident in particular with trying to share my wonderfully insightful ideas with the directress.
still hopping from pilgrim at tinker creek, which despite seeming boring has the addictive quality of literary crack, the faits divers book, and the lain artbook wich is so beautiful.
today, a trip to p. for yogurts and cheese and because it would not be funny only going to the bakabeyon w/ full training regalia and temperature controlled container, it is also snowing.
heimatkläge was interesting, mostly for the depiction of the three main characters, all of which were partially buffoons, but some are really impressive buffoons
(see http://www.stimmhorn.ch/english/e_infos.html ... the man christian is actually able to reproduce the sound of a daxophone with his voice.)
